Jack Abramoff pleaded guilty to Conspiracy, Fraud, and Tax Evasion on Jan 4, 2006

Jack Abramoff, a conservative Republican lobbyist and close friend of Republican leader Tom DeLay, took over $80 million from Indian gambling, and illegaly funneled money to top politicians including George Bush.

He supported sweatshops in the Mariannas, Nicaraguan death squads, and the South African Apartheid regime.

Jack Abramoff is still under investigation by the FBI for donations to an Israeli terrorist sharpshooter organization.

Abramoff is a Person of Interest in the murder/execution of Florida SunCruz Casino owner Gus Boulis. Abramoff purchased SunCruz Casino with a partner but has now plead guilty to fraud in the purchase.

On March 29, 2006, he was sentenced to five years and 10 months in prison and ordered to pay restitution of more than $21 million.
